A couple of items as we prepare for team tryouts. This year the tryouts will be done in a slightly different format and will be spread out over three days.
First to keep the lines of communications as clear as possible, I will be holding a parent meeting with each team level, before the actual tryouts. These meetings will be held on Thursday May 8th. Those of you who have your Spring Clinics on Saturday, please don't forget that May 8th is also our annual General Meeting and Elections. The parent meetings for team tryouts will be as follows
5:30 PM Beginner team meeting
6:30 PM Preliminary and Juvenile team meeting
7:00 PM General Meeting and Elections
7:45 PM Pre-Juvenile team meeting (or conclusion of the general meeting)
8:15 PM Open-Juvenile team meeting
9:00 PM IJS (Intermediate/Novice) team meeting
Agenda of team meetings
- How tryouts at each level will be conducted
- How to fill out Tryout Form and critical information
- Alternates vs Swing Skaters
- How teams will be selected
- Posting of teams
If you have any questions, please see me at this week's Spring Clinics and I would be more than happy to answer your questions.

It is our hope that skaters will work on these abilities either on their own or with the assistance of their private coach. Towards the end of the season, a follow up report card will be issued so any progress can be recognized.
Please keep in mind, every skater's report card is private. Please do not share with other skaters so that we can keep this as a positive and helpful tool.
*** Update: During 2013 spring clinics, those that haven't gotten reports yet will be reviewed. It will give Alyssa a better feel for the individual skating ability of each skater.
Payments (checks only, please) and test applications and fees can be placed inside.
The Treasurer and Test Chair will check the box regularly.
